Based in Connecticut and New York City, I am a licensed social worker and therapist providing individual, group, & family psychotherapy, as well as supportive clinical recovery coaching services in the NYC metro area.

I received my BS in Psychology from The University of Connecticut and attended New York University for graduate school for my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. The majority of my clinical training, supervision, and experience has been utilizing a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis model, but I use a mix of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies, as well as Self-Psychology and recovery & life skill coaching, when appropriate for the individual. (Here’s a secret – all of those fancy terms are just different ways of relating, communicating with, and understanding human beings!)
My areas of specialty include addiction and addictive disorders, mood disturbances, and disruptive personality patterns. Some examples could include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma and family conflict. For an overview of my areas of specialty as well as clinical modalities I utilize in practice, please feel free to visit my Psychology Today page.
